Access Daily experiences culinary Chicago, thanks to “On Location with Lindsay”!

In this newest segment from Travel Correspondent Lindsay Myers, Access Daily hosts Mario Lopez and Kit Hoover learn why Chicago is such a hot culinary destination. There is a reason it is the location of the hit FX/HULU series “The Bear”, now in it’ s third season!

While in town, Lindsay heads to “Mr. Beef on Orleans”, the mom-and-pop sandwich Italian shop owned by the Zucchero family that serves as the inspiration for main character Carmy Berzatto’s restaurant, “The Beef”. Here, she learns how to make the iconic beef sandwich!

Other adventures include Lindsay visiting Curtis Duffy’s “Ever”, the Michelin-starred restaurant (also featured in the show) where she learns how to polish silverware and call out “back-of-house” dinner service.

She also learns how to make a signature cocktail at the luxurious Peninsula Chicago hotel and enjoys a cookie-decorating class with the hotel’s own star chef, Peter Bear.
